1. Difference between ÖBB Nightjet and EuroNight trains?
The distinction lies in the operator.
ÖBB Nightjet (NJ) trains are operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), linking 25 major cities overnight.
EuroNight (EN) services are a cooperation of various European rail companies (Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, etc.) offering sleeper and couchette cars. Rolling stock and service vary by operator, but breakfast in sleepers is always included (and in couchettes except Stockholm–Hamburg).
You can book NJ or EN routes via ÖBB or Deutsche Bahn portals—functionally equivalent. The following points cover service and amenities on ÖBB Nightjet only.
