Fairness Award 2019: Hauptstadtkoffer in 1st place
This is what WINNERS look like
A reason to pop the champagne! In October we emerged as winners and award recipients of the German Fairness Award 2019. Edging out Samsonite and Titan by a whisker, HAUPTSTADTKOFFER took the medal for 1st place in the suitcases/luggage category.

The awards were presented by the news channel n-tv and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ). Companies were nominated that were rated as particularly fair in a survey of around 50,000 customer opinions. In total, 748 providers in 48 categories were put under the microscope.

1st place in the suitcases/luggage category
In the suitcases/luggage category, 14 companies were rated by customers. Eight companies with a sufficient number of customer opinions were included in the individual evaluation.
Process and nomination
The panel survey focused on opinions about value for money, reliability and transparency. Consumers assessed whether the price and performance of the products or services offered were in fair proportion to each other, how binding company statements were and how well agreements and promised services were kept, including with regard to product or contractual services, whether problems and complaints were handled fairly, and whether prices and contractual services were transparent and easy to understand, with no hidden costs, for example. The overall result combined satisfaction with the individual areas using the following weightings: value for money 40 per cent, reliability and transparency 30 per cent each.
