For us, sustainability means longevity

At Hauptstadtkoffer, we understand sustainability primarily as the responsible and resource-efficient use of products. A suitcase should not have to be replaced simply because a single wear part is damaged.

That is why many of our suitcases are designed so that wear parts such as wheels, handles, locks or telescopic handles can be replaced easily. This extends the service life of the suitcase while reducing waste and conserving valuable resources.

Repair instead of replace

Thanks to the modular design of our suitcases, individual components can be replaced when required. This allows a reliable travel companion to remain in use for longer instead of having to be discarded completely because of a minor defect.

For us, this is an important part of sustainable product development: durable products, replaceable components and solutions that enable products to be used for as long as possible.

Refurbished – ready for the next journey

Suitcases that have already been on a short journey also deserve a second chance. Our refurbished range includes carefully inspected suitcases that are in excellent technical and functional condition.

These may include returned items, display models or products with minor cosmetic signs of use. Instead of discarding these suitcases, we prepare them for their next journey.

This allows existing products to remain in use, conserves resources and avoids unnecessary waste.

Travelling further together

For us, sustainability does not begin with the material alone, but with the question of how long a product can be used reliably. With durable suitcases, replaceable wear parts and our refurbished range, we aim to ensure that our products can accompany you on as many journeys as possible.
