Allowed on board: Each passenger may take one piece of hand luggage with the following dimensions on board: Suitcase/bag can weigh up to 6 kg and be up to 55 x 40 x 20 cm in size.

FREE BAGGAGE: SUITCASE DIMENSIONS/WEIGHT

IN ADDITION TO HAND LUGGAGE, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CAN BE CARRIED FREE OF CHARGE

• Laptop bag
• Small ladies' handbag
• Baby food for meals during the flight
• 1 pair of crutches, if you depend on them

MEDICATION AND SPECIAL FOOD

Medication and special food, such as baby food, may of course still be brought on board.

Duty-free items in sealed security bags

Of course, all liquids from duty-free shops purchased after the passenger security check are still allowed. For this, the duty-free items must be packed and sealed in a security bag with a red border together with the sales receipt at the time of purchase. Please note that this only applies to items with a sales receipt from the same day.

BAGGAGE IN THE CARGO HOLD

On flights, in addition to hand luggage, a certain amount of travel baggage can also be taken free of charge in the aircraft's cargo hold. Simply check in your suitcase at our check-in counters for this. Please note that the free baggage allowance may vary depending on the destination.

GENERAL FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE FOR BAGGAGE IN THE CARGO HOLD

• Adults and children (from 2 years): max. 20 kg
• Infants (under 2 years): max. 10 kg
• Free baggage allowance for flights to/from Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Morocco, Turkey
• Adults and children (from 2 years): max. 25 kg
• Infants (under 2 years): max. 5 kg

Are you planning a long stay? If you stay at your destination for at least 28 days, you can even check in up to 30 kg of baggage free of charge with Germania. The outbound and return flights must be made in one booking process for this. Simply present your return flight ticket from our airline upon departure and thus prove the length of your stay. Please note that this extended free baggage allowance only applies to adults and children aged 2 and over.

EXCESS BAGGAGE/SPECIAL BAGGAGE

Germania transports additional baggage for a fee of €10 or CHF 12* per kg and route, payable at check-in. Simply pack it in such a way that safe transport is guaranteed.
Germania does not offer discounted excess baggage packages. If the free baggage allowance is exceeded, a fee of €10 or CHF 12* per kg and route will be charged.
Please note that checked baggage items may not weigh more than 32 kg for safety and occupational health reasons.

ON-BOARD ENTERTAINMENT

Germania offers a varied radio program: With current top hits, classical music, and jazz, there is something for everyone. Don't worry if you don't have your own headphones, you can purchase them for €3. Depending on the flight duration, the on-board TV also provides entertainment with series, cartoons, and feature films.

FOOD ON BOARD

Germania offers free food and non-alcoholic drinks on its flights. Depending on the flight duration, a snack, a delicious sandwich, or a warm meal is served. In addition, juice, water or soft drinks, coffee, or tea are offered.
